The power of the Martell Magnetic Earbuds are controlled by magnets. When the earbuds are separated they will power on. When you place the earbuds back together they will power off. The earbuds feature a built in microphone and music control. The playback time at max volume is 3hrs. It takes 1hr to charge the earbuds from 0 to 100%. Bluetooth version 4.2
